Last weekend I went to my parents’ to celebrate Mother’s Day. We visited my Grandparents, walked the dog and had a racelette evening and it was really lovely. It was nice to spend a couple of chilled out days with my family and the sun shone for us, my Dad even washed my car for me!
This week was another busy one with parents’ evening and a network meeting so really counting those days down until the Easter holidays now!
This week I…
Read
Like a Queen by Constance Hall. The fact that I’ve pretty much finished it after only starting it on Sunday, despite this week being so busy, shows how much I enjoyed it. Its was just so real and honest, and it made me laugh and made me cry. The images in it are stunning too.
Watched
The BFG on Saturday night with my Mum, Dad (he fell asleep) and sister. It was lovely but not amazing. I’m glad I watched it but wouldn’t be in a rush to see it again.
Made
An offer on a house and it was accepted! So all being well we have found our new home. It is a bit of a project so I guess that answers the question of To Renovate or Not to Renovate! So many mixed emotions on the whole moving thing, but that’s something for another blog post I think!
Wore
My wellies on a couple of muddy dog walks over the weekend. The sun was shining and it felt like Spring was finally here, but the ground was still very wet from earlier in the week. We carried Harriet over some of the worst patches to avoid having to bath her when we got back!
Heard
Hmmm struggling with this one for this week…
And lastly…
I’m away again this weekend visiting a friend and her little boys and I cant wait.
I hope you all have a good week. I’m linking up with the lovely Morgana at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat for this week’s #LittleLoves and am looking forward to reading about what everyone else has been loving this week too.
Thanks for popping by,
Kimberley x
That book is on my TBR list, that first picture is just gorgeous!!! #LittleLoves
So many beautiful images in this post – it sounds like you’ve had a great week.
Such great news about the new house; how exciting! I’ve still yet to see the BFG. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Congratulations on the house news! How exciting. And yay for sunny walks – I really need to drag my son out more as the weather gets better next week. Hope you have a fab weekend! #LittleLoves
Beautiful photos. I love blossom trees. Congratulations on the house buying front. Have a lovely weekend x
Ahhh, I recently read Like A Queen too. It genuinely changed my life and made me see my relationship completely differently.
Love all your pics this week! I still haven’t read Like A Queen, need to order myself a copy! How exciting about your house move, good luck with it all. Hope you’re having a lovely time with your friend x
This is a new book to me that sounds intriguing and I have yet to watch the BFG. My girls are probably too young to watch it with me though. #LittleLoves
Another book to add to my list!
I know just what you mean about the BFG. To be honest I was really disappointed with it. It’s one of my favourite Roald Dahl books but the film just fell short. xx
What a lovely positive round up, congrats on the house and that photo by the trees is lovely! That blossom too, I’m a sucker for a blossom tree #littleloves
Huge congrats on the house that’s amazing. Those snaps of the blue skies and trees are just gorgeous wish we had blossoms around us like these. So sorry for the late comment I am playing catch up on today’s and last weeks #littleloves. Better late than never I hope! Happy Weekend.
