Pooh, Pancakes and a Pug #LittleLoves

What a long old week! The first week back is always hectic and through lesson observations, World Book Day and a classroom to set up after being away all holiday it was seriously manic with very long days. I’ve been so busy that its Friday night and I’m only just getting round to writing this post.

The weekend was lovely as my Mum, Dad, Sister and her pug, Harriet, came over for belated birthday celebrations. The send me some beautiful flowers that arrived just before they did. We went for walks, got a takeaway, played cards and ate cake!

Even though this week was so busy, there were still lots of little things to love..

This week I…

Read

I just finished Vinegar Girl which I’ve been reading for weeks, but haven’t managed to start anything new this week as I’ve been falling asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow. I have a few things lined up including Small Great Things which is ready for me at the library after I put my name on a waiting list a few weeks ago.

Made

Pancakes! I seriously love pancakes. Lemon and sugar all the way for me, how do you have yours?

I also made labels for EVERYTHING after my sister bought me a label maker for my birthday.

Oh and lots of honey and lemon because I’ve had a horrible cold all week.

Watched

Some Location Location Location for the first time in ages. We’re still house hunting so it felt quite fitting. So many gorgeous houses on there. Maybe we should get Phil and Kirstie on board with our search!

Wore

A Winnie the Pooh onesie with a pillow stuffed down the front!

Well it was World Book Day! A very simple costume but my class always love it.

Heard

My lovely Grandparents on the phone when I called them for a big old catch up on Sunday afternoon. It made my heart happy.

And lastly…

I’ve decided to take part in DECHOX this year for the British Heart Foundation. You can read more about it on my post here, sign up here, and sponsor me here! No chocolate for the whole of March, I’m pretty impressed I’ve survived the first 3 days if I’m honest.

I hope you all have a good week. I’m linking up with the lovely Morgana at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat for this week’s #LittleLoves and am looking forward to reading about what everyone else has been loving this week too.

  1. I am loving your label maker! Sounds like you’ve managed to get through a really hectic week especially with a cold. What wonderful family moments- it sounds like a lovely way to celebrate your birthday. #LittleLoves

  2. Love your Book Day costume, so fun! Sounds like you’ve had a busy week at school, but the birthday celebrations made up for it. Good Luck with the DECHOX – I couldn’t do it, it’s my only vice! Enjoy the week ahead xx

  3. Love your WBD costume – so cute, I’m not surprised the kids love it. I’m jealous of your label maker! Though I think if I had one then everything in the house would get a label! haha xx
