The Fourth Trimester and a Year of Blogging #LittleLoves

Quite a short one this week I think. The time seems to have flown and I’m not sure I have much to write for each category. I spent the weekend at home clearing out my childhood bedroom and being amazed at how much rubbish one person can hoard! We also went out for dinner for my sister’s early birthday celebrations and did some pram shopping too! Think this little creeper wanted to sit up front with me…

This week I…

Read

I’ve mainly just been finishing off the Yorkshire Pudding club this week bit I’ve also been flicking through the Forth Trimester magazine that arrived through my door. I haven’t actually started reading it yet but I’m hoping this will be what my Saturday morning will look like!

Watched

My sister opening her birthday presents even though its not her birthday until next month, as we wont all be together again before then!

Made

I made it to my first blog birthday! A whole year of blogging, I can hardly believe it!

I did not make this cake this week! But you can find the recipe here, its my sugar-free smash cake.

Wore

I wore two new tops this weekend that are not my usual style and a little out of my comfort zone. This preggers t-shirt that I wore for pram browsing in mothercare is from ASOS and the pink top I wore out for dinner in the evening is New Look maternity. Photo credits to my insta-sister haha.

Heard

That IKEA Sheffield is finally open! (Who am I kidding I was counting down the days!) I love that there’s now an IKEA in my city and I cant wait to pay the new store a visit.

And lastly…

I’m writing this post past my bedtime on Thursday evening after being out for dinner with work friends. We have a weekend at home planned and are planning to paint the bathroom! I’d also super excited for a lie in so I hope I can sleep ok.

I’m linking up with the lovely Morgana at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat for this week’s #LittleLoves and am looking forward to reading about what everyone else has been loving this week too.

  1. Thanks for the Fourth Trimester mention. A friend told me about it a while ago and I think I’m going to pick up a copy for a care package I’m putting together for a pregnant friend.

  2. Happy Blogaversary! The first year is such an important milestone, so many blogs don’t make it that far so you should be super proud of yourself.
How exciting about IKEA!! We’re getting one soon too, its just had planning approval and I cannot wait! xx
