One of the unexpected lovely things about having a new baby has been all of the post we have received. Call me old fashioned but to me there is something really special about getting post, is that sad?!? I think taking the time to send something to someone really shows that you care.
After every birthday and Christmas as a child we were encouraged to write thank you cards for the people who bought us presents, and that is something I’m trying to continue. I’ll admit to not always managing this, and sometimes a simple text or phone call has to do.
However, for the really special occasions I think a proper card is really important. It’s why after our wedding I ordered special wedding thank you cards and I’ll be sending photo thank you cards with pictures of Teddy on to everyone who has bought things for our baby boy.
I love the huge selection at Basic Invite and how customisable they are. You can personalise even the littlest detail with over 180 colour options, meaning you can really make the designs your own, and there are loads of designs to choose from. Choosing one of the 40 different coloured envelopes means your card will stand out as soon as it hits the doormat.
I have lots of friends getting married soon so I’ll recommend the wedding and bridal shower thank you cards and invitations. Basic Invite allows you to order a printed sample of your customised design so you can make sure you’re 100% happy before ordering. Their address collection tool will also save lots of time during the wedding planning progress.
Do you like to send and receive post? Or do you think I’m old fashioned?
Now I just need the postman to be a little more patient and allow me more time to get to the door when I’m feeding the baby!
Thanks for passing by,
